Rita Creasy, German sympathiser

Date: 1943-1944 Reference: KV 2/4022 Creator: Security Service Catalogue context: Ronald Noah CREASY, alias CREASEY / Rita CREASY, alias CREASEY: British. Both CREASYs were reported to be active members of the British Union of Fascists in 1939. In 1940 Noah CREASY was detained under Defence Regulations only to be released soon afterwards. In 1943 Noah CREASY offered help to the German cause both in providing information and in offering safe accommodation to German agents or parachutists. He also suggested a target for sabotage. In the run-up to D Day both CREASYs were made subject to Restriction Orders.
