The photograph is annotated in red with a compass indicator and the runway dimensions and identifies the buildings as"Hangars & Shops&#34. Size: 10cm x 21cm, 23 July 1944. Item (2) 1 vertical aerial photograph, No 7002, showing Peenemünde on the German Baltic coast. Front annotations show"V1 site&#34 and"The elliptical earthwork V2 site&#34 surrounded by bomb craters.
