The photographs are accompanied by one folio of hand-written interpretation comments together with typed notes for items (19-20). Item (1) 1 vertical aerial photograph showing a large concentration of bomb craters around a group of buildings, with roads and 4 planes on an airfield. The photograph is annotated in red with a compass indicator and the runway dimensions and identifies the buildings as"Hangars & Shops". Size: 10cm x 21cm, 23 July 1944. Item (2) 1 vertical aerial photograph, No 7002, showing Peenemünde on the German Baltic coast. Front annotations show"V1 site" and"The elliptical earthwork V2 site" surrounded by bomb craters.
